Great Is Your Mercy Towards Me

Ever sit back and ponder on where you were and where you are in your lifetime?
Do you say to yourself how in the world did I make it here?
Rather your perspective of your current situation is negative or positive, the fact remains that you made it to the very point in time that you are sitting and able to reflect. You are still in existence. Why, you may question? Well, because of purpose! For purpose is the only reason why we came from heaven, and when we have fulfilled that purpose this is when are time have come to meet our maker.
Understand that some are destined to fulfill the set purpose, but in the journey to our destiny, we are faced with set backs, trials, tribulations, life circumstances that yields us in making a decision that may redirect us towards our purpose, or continue in the set path that has been set.
Now, as you sit back, think of what your purpose in life is. Once you've determined what it is, write it down and make it plain (legible or clear). This way you can always revisit it as a reminder what path you should be on. For if you are just running with no destination, then you are simply exhausting yourself for no reason!

Peace & Blessings!

My Love's Story

To my friends and family, I am sorry I did not inform you all sooner, but everything seems to be happening since I've return to Miami. First, as some may already know, I fell in love all over again. This time it's the real thing. I mean He's always been in my life, but it was always hard for me to commit. You may ask why this time? Well, He simply smiled at me, and I figured He stuck beside me all this time why not. I mean we've been through some hard times, especially when I went off to school. When I left, I told him that I was doing my own thing. I even told Him that I no longer believed in Him. We didn't talk for a while, but He would often send his peeps to check on me just to see how I was doing. He later told me that He wanted to make sure that I did not get myself in a mess that I could not get myself out of. I really thought He was completely out of my life. And I was okay with that, at least I thought I was. Until, I ran into Him a couple years back. We played catch up! Or should I say, I played catch up, because it was clear that He knew everything that was going on with me. We laughed, we cried, and then He said those three words to me... I MISS YOU! And I knew Him missing me meant the same as Him Loving Me. And to be honest I Loved Him too, and I knew that He wanted all of me, but I was in a relationship at the time that I knew He would not go for. He demanded for me to direct dude to the door. I tried, but it did not work! And He simply asked me, "Am I not worth your undivided love?" Of course He was, but this was such bad timing, at least for me. There I was with a man, whom I thought that I was in love with, and here before me was the one I could not live without. I had a decision to make, and He actually waited… patiently. Even when my relationship came to an end, and I picked up a couple more male friends, but none ever seemed to work out. So I gave up, saying I rather just live without. And He felt me, He knew exactly how I was feeling, but to another degree. He told me that this was the exact same way He felt about me. See, I realized that He was never going to give up on We, because what We had was unconditional. And if He could not have Our Love, than I would gets No Love. He wanted to be the first to share the moment of true intimacy and passion, which can only be experienced through True Love. He wanted to teach me how to truly be in love. See, since being with Him, I have learned that I have never truly been in love until now. I can now tell the world what it means to love and love back. I am talking about that agape love, that unconditional love, that godly love, that one love that would never, and could never be compared to any other love. Not from your mother, not from your father, not from your sister, not from your bother. This is a love shared only from Thee One who gave love unselfishly by laying down His life as a living sacrifice on Calvary. So on this day I am officially stating that I am married to a Man, unlike any earthly man, who displayed his love by shedding He's blood for me, so that We can be together in eternity. DON'T keep this to yourself… SPREAD THE GOOD NEWS!

JC's Beats

In a small book entitled Jesus and the Hip Hop Prophets, I read that the language of this generation has transformed so much, and the only means of reaching this new generation is by acquiring that language. Hip-Hop is the language of the 21st century, and many youth are drawn by rap R&B artist who have the phattest beats or the ride-out hooks. The music is good, yet the message is perverted. Often time this reality of the same for the messenger. Youth's are looking up to these individual as famous idols for the truth and to shed some light on their life. Yet this message that they relay maybe a worldly truth, it is not the truth of God given by the word.
"Jesus doesn't have weak beats. When he drops a beat or freestyles, our hearts hit heights we never knew existed. Jesus wants to be seen and he wants to be heard, and he wants to invite us into his inner circle." For some people that inner circle may be in a hip-hop community where music and rhymes exist, for others it may be in a literary community where books with words exist, and for some it may even be in an artistry community where painting and images exist. Whatever that inner circle is where the language of your heart speaks and God is being praise we must respond to it and worship him with our gifting. This how we let our creator know that we are appreciative. Lauryn Hill said it best, "That's what praising God is all about—fulfilling…doing your passion!"
Gospel artist J Moss sings a message stating no matter who or what we are we must praise. Rather it be through writing, running, singing, dancing, speaking, mentoring we must bless and exalt the Lord with are gifting. As a believer, we worship God in everything all that we do, in spirit and in truth. "Though it may seem pity to us, God is sitting back smiling at us as He is being glorified. The smile of God is the goal of our life" (Quote taken from The Purpose Driven Life). His smiling is his approval!
For me poetry is my grace gift, my tool for worship and praise, my charisma that draws others to me, and in return I can be used to draw them to the one who sent to shed his blood on Calvary. So that all can be saved!
